About five years ago, Willemijn had one of those lightbulb moments. It turned out that corporate life just wasn’t for her. Her next step was to follow her heart, which saw her dive head first into the world of spirituality. It was there that she came across something called ‘manifesting’; a concept that really spoke to her. Willemijn immersed herself in it, mastered it and eventually became an expert in manifestation. Today she combines her entrepreneurial fervor with this portion of spirituality to help ambitious women manage their energy and manifest their dream careers on the daily.

Manifestation: a popular word for 2020 and for good reason. There’s a kind of magic to manifestation, whereas at the same time it is actually a very down-to-earth approach. Because manifesting, if you simplify the concept, is really about knowing what your goal is and going for it. This is something Willemijn Welten knows all about. On April 23, the manifestation expert herself will open The Self-Made Summit with a discourse on manifestation.
In her talk, Willemijn will run through exactly what the concept of ‘manifesting’ is, how it works and how you can do it yourself. She will open with a short meditation and help you set your intention for the day: why did you decide to invest in yourself and attend the summit? What do you want to get out of today? Willemijn will ensure that before you get caught up in a tornado of talks and networking moments, that you really have this clear for yourself. In this way you can get the most out of The Self-Made Summit and achieve the growth that you set out for yourself. We know her from
Willemijn worked for financial start-ups and corporates for over ten years. In terms of business output she was successful, but at the same time, was also experiencing feelings of anxiety, insecurity and stress. This was until she discovered how to control her energy and make it work for her - helping her create the life that she wanted.
Long story short, Willemijn decided to give up her super-cool-über-important-management-corporate-job and become an expert in manifestation. In 2015, she made the switch from corporate employee to entrepreneur in a weeks time. In the years that followed she took a deep dive into the field of spirituality; she became a Craniosacral therapist, lived in South America for a year to immerse herself in both spiritual and shamanic principles and even trained with Gabby Bernstein.
In between all of this, Willemijn found time to launch the spiritual coaching platform House of Awareness in the Netherlands. It is through this platform that she currently guides and supports various women, day in day out, to help them get more out of their lives.
