Sam Wolfson started her career while in University in the music industry first as a writer for the likes of Billboard & Harris Publications and then moved over to music festival production and brand sponsorship. In 2013 she landed her first corperate job the Monday after graduating at SFX (Parent company of ID&T at that time) in New York City where she was the Account Manager for a tourist music festival called Corona Sunsets. That took her on a 4-year journey around the world following the sun for 9-months of the year putting on Music Festivals on every continent that had a beach (USA/Mexico, Europe, China, South America & Australia). Their summers were spent in Amsterdam doing the European circuit and Sam fell in love with the city. Realizing there was a DAFT Visa, she left her life in the Music Industry ready for what was new in Amsterdam. Realizing these skills were transferable, she jumped into the Advertising World and landed her first gig with Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam. From there, she led the global advertising campaigns as the Account Manager and then as Account Director for brands such as Samsung, Montblanc, Rayban, and Airbnb.
When she wasn't doing this, she was building on the side. When she landed in Amsterdam in 2017, she started her dinner series "Sam's Dinners" where she brought together 6 women who didn't know each other over a theme & a question. This was always bubbling in the background and once we came out of lockdown in 2022, it took off. It was renamed to "& the Table" but the core stayed the same - 6 women, around a table, all come solo, over a theme and a question. Today, & the Table have flourished into a full platform to make new connections under this construct. There are over 100+ hosts in 8 countries in Europe, The UK & the USA. It aims to bring connection at any age & the ability to show up solo to nourish that.
